General Kuroki Tamemoto

Count Tamemoto Kuroki GCMG (May 3, 1844 – February 3, 1923)
was a general in the Imperial Japanese Army. He was the head of the Japanese First Army during the Russo-Japanese War; and his forces enjoyed a series of successes during the Manchurian fighting at the Battle of Yalu River, the Battle of Liaoyang, the Battle of Shaho and the Battle of Mukden.

Another beautiful Japanese Cannon label in my Cannon versions collection

This is a very odd label of a Chinese man who hanged on a Cannon with his mouth while holding a matchbox in his left hand and triggering the Cannon with a match - I have this little label, but I discovered 2 other versions of it.

Can some one tell me what's the mining behind it?

The man in this one is very skilled to trigger the Cannon and to wave a fan while standing on a ball...

My new Leehing Catfish labels - A Dream come true

Today is a special day for me - I decided to come back and relive my blog after more than 2 month  of drought. At the beginning I was suffering from headaches, that finally left me after month and a half, and then I couldn't put my ass and start writing and uploading photos.
Since then, my collection has grown and developed. My friend Hilik has connected me to an English collector who sold me some nice Japanese labels. Among them you can find my favorites - a set of 7 beautiful Leehing & Co. Catfish Japanese labels, that for me is like a dream come true (and today I show it to the world, so this is also a reason that today is a special day).
This Japanese producer made a very unique and special labels that on all of them you can find a scary Catfish.
